David Hadden, president, founded the company in 1979 shortly after graduating from Texas Tech University with a landscape architecture degree.

David is very involved in the day-to-day operations, and is proud Hadden Landscaping is a locally-owned business. This is what sets Hadden apart from many of the larger landscaping companies. “If a client has a need and needs to talk to me, they can pick up the phone and talk to me,” David said.

Mike Bratton, general manager, holds Texas licenses in irrigation and application, and is a certified landscape professional.

Mike graduated with a degree in agricultural sciences from Texas Tech University and is currently a member of the Lone Star Irrigation Association and the Dallas Irrigation Association. His area of responsibility includes estimating, budgeting, scheduling and tracking. What does he enjoy most about working with his customers? “Without a doubt – teaching. I love it,” Mike said.

Mark Abington, project manager, has more than 30 years of experience.

Mark has a landscape architecture degree from the University of Arkansas and specializes in the design implementation and installation of unusual and complex hardscape projects. Mark has coordinated and managed the construction of fountains, pools, flat work, signage, lighting and retaining walls on installation projects. “I enjoy building a professional relationship with the client, while working through the installation process and seeing their satisfaction at the successful completion of the project,” he said.

Dale Wheatley, landscape manager, is a graduate of the University of Texas and has been involved with the landscape industry for 21 years.

His diverse experience includes production and management in both the maintenance and installation sides of landscaping. Dale is a Texas Certified Landscape Contractor and also is a Texas Certified Nurseryman (#3387). He oversees all facets of landscape development. What does he enjoy the most at Hadden? “Taking a raw location and creating a finished project that our customer is satisfied with,” Dale said.

Wesley Boren, account manager, has been with the company since 2000. He holds a number of certifications and has a strong background in turf, tree and ornamental care.

Wesley manages fertilization, insect, disease and weed-control services, and graduated with a degree in general agriculture from Tarleton State University. With nearly 25 years of experience, there aren't many issues that arise that Wesley can't handle. “I really enjoy getting to know the clients and letting them know we want the best for their community,” Wesley said.

Garrett Conner, maintenance sales, has been in the landscape profession since 1998. He received a bachelor's degree in management and marketing from Texas Tech University.

Garrett's strengths are not only customer service, but also irrigation and landscape services. His business experience comes from not only working in another industry, but also he led his own crew within a family-owned landscaping/irrigation business. “I would say I enjoy the face-to-face interaction with customers and making them feel as if they are the only one,” Garrett said.

Jason Cunningham, Fort Worth satellite office manager, has nearly eight years of experience.

Jason graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in marketing. His background is in maintenance sales, and installation and maintenance production. His attention to detail and organizational skills allow the company to provide the quality workmanship and to meet deadlines on every job. Jason enjoys developing partnerships with clients. “I truly enjoy cultivating and growing lasting relationships with our customers,” Jason said.

DeVille Hubbard, manager of irrigation and integrated pest management, is a professional grounds manager, with experience dating back to 1980.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Michigan State University's College of Agriculture, and has done graduate work in the master’s of landscape architecture program at the University of Texas at Arlington. DeVille frequently speaks to groups about water conservation as it relates to proper irrigation installation and maintenance. How the customer is treated is important to DeVille. “When I am working with a customer and they have a question or concern, I take on the task with personal responsibility for the outcome,” DeVille said.

Mark McCormack, account manager, has been with Hadden since 2006.He's been in the landscape industry since 1984.

In addition to his technical skills, Mark is a gifted manager and communicator who understands the needs of maintenance clients. Our clients have told us they appreciate Mark's knowledge, attention to detail and forward-thinking approach. As for Mark? “I really enjoy working with our customers on the decisions made to improve their property,” he said.

Robin Mercer, account manager, has a business degree from Texas Christian University. He's been a team member since 2004.

Robin has more than 27 years of experience. His assets are his horticultural knowledge and strong commitment to our service standards. He is a Texas Certified Nurseryman and, in his spare time, is involved in the U.S. Power and Sail Squadron. “I really enjoy helping my customers improve and enhance their landscape investment through superior water and landscape management practices,” Robin said.

Adam Pickens, account manager, has more than three years of experience in the landscaping industry. He graduated with an associate’s degree in construction management from Tarrant County Community College.

Adam's areas of specialization are in chemical applications and maintenance, and he takes every step necessary to address the needs of our clients quickly and efficiently. Customer service is important to him. “I enjoy trying to make our customers as happy as possible,” he said.

Rex Robertson, account manager, has more than 25 years in the landscaping profession. He served in the Marine Corps Infantry Division three years.

Rex has a broad base of green-industry knowledge and holds irrigation, backflow and chemical applicator licenses. “I really enjoy establishing relationships with our customer base and getting to know a diversity of people. It’s gratifying to remedy the problems that occur on an ongoing basis in the landscaping industry,” he said.
